THE Mystery Dinner
A Memorial Spaulding PTO Fundraiser
The Mystery Dinner is a great way to support our school and children while enjoying fine food and great company. Here’s how it works:
In a few weeks, you will receive an invitation in your child’s folder listing 6-8 theme dinners. Each will be a dinner for 8-12 people, hosted by a Memorial Spaulding family. To sign up for this event you choose your 3 favorite theme dinners, but the hosts and other guests at your table remain a mystery.
Then, on the night of Saturday, November 12th at 6:30pm, everyone attending the event first gathers at one house for an hors d’oeuvres party. There, everyone receives their mystery envelope, revealing their dinner destination, hosts & theme. After hors d’oeuvres, everyone proceeds to their dinner destinations, where they will enjoy delicious food and get to know each other better.
After dinner everyone reconvenes as a large group for dessert and coffee at a surprise location.

******In order for this event to be successful, we need dinner hosts!!!******* This event has been extremely successful at both Underwood and Countryside; Underwood in the past has had as many as 14-16 houses for this event and Countryside has had ~8 houses!
* Dinner hosts just serve dinner.
* No need to make appetizers or dessert – someone else is doing that.
* Want to host but don’t want to cook? We may be able to match you with a cook, ask us!
* Want to cook but not at your house? We’ll find you a home!
