THE SPRING FLING…NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

WHEN: This Friday, January 13th, from 8:30 – 9:00 AM and every other Friday through May in the downstairs cafe.

WHAT IS IT: It is the biggest Memorial Spaulding PTO fundraiser of the year and all the proceeds go directly to supplying our school with new and updated technology. Aside from being a money raising event it is also an evening for Memorial Spaulding parents and friends to enjoy an adult evening out with good food, good drinks and hopefully goods times. This year’s theme has yet to be determined (I hope you will help with that…)

WHY: 100% to benefit our school’s technology. In 2010 we raised almost $30,000 which went towards the fifth grade classroom digital whiteboards. In previous years funds went towards laptops, carts, Elmo projectors, classroom Macs and much more… Considering our school is among the worst outfitted elementary schools in Newton we really can use your help!!!

WHAT DO WE NEED: Good and creative ideas, 30-minutes of your time every other week (and, yes, as we get closer to the event we will need more than that…), access to various event planning resources, auction items (or those willing to “ask”) and whatever it takes to raise as much as we can for our children’s in-school technology resources.

No need to RSVP. Please just come this FRIDAY THE 13TH IN THE SCHOOL’S DOWNSTAIRS CAFE.

CO-CHAIRS: TERRY YANCEY AND KYLE TAGER (yes, the MSPTO First Men)
