The PTO is still looking for volunteers for the following events/ committees:

ASCA

ASCA is a non-profit Memorial-Spaulding PTO fundraiser offering a variety of AFTER-SCHOOL COURSES for our children right here at our school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. We need volunteers to take attendance and to take care of any issues during a class. As a volunteer you earn a Free ASCA Course for the whole semester for your child. CORI background checks are mandatory for all volunteers and teachers. Interested in volunteering? Contact Emily Gordon: asca@memorialspauldingpto.org

Absent/ Tardy Line

Absent/ Tardy Line volunteers help to make sure all children made it safe into their classrooms! Every morning starting at 8:30AM voicemails on our schools “absent/tardy-line” are checked and compared with the teacher’s attendance sheets. Follow-up is needed on children, who are not accounted for (by checking with the office, their teacher, and/or by calling their parents/ guardians). Time commitment: 1 hour per week? For more information, contact Sandra Luikenhuis: sluikenhuis@yahoo.com

Mystery Dinner: Saturday, November 3, 2012

This is a dinner for adults, where people move from house to house for each course. Volunteers can help by hosting dinner on the evening of November 3rd and/ or by organizing the raffle. Interested in hosting? Contact Jonathan Kominik: jonathan.kominik@verizon.net
