Principal’s Update

Parking in the Blue Zone in the morning has become an issue. Please remember parking in the Blue Zone is prohibited from 8:00am to 8:40. This includes those who sit in the car to await the 8:20 bell. I have asked the Newton Police Department to help enforce the rules of the Zone – so it will work for everyone. Should you need clarification on the Blue Zone details click HERE and HERE

Once again this year we are collecting donations of hats, mittens, coats and gloves for those in need. This community service project is facilitated through the Circle of Hope Organization. Donation bins are in the Main Hallway. Please consider donating for those who need help staying warm this winter. For more information click HERE

Our Lost and Found – in the Main Hallway is overflowing with items. ALL items remaining in the Lost and Found will be donated to Circle of Hope on December 20th. You are welcome to check out photos of items HERE – or come into the school to look for items the may belong to your child. Again, all items not claimed buy Friday, December 20th will be donated.

Now that the holiday season is upon us, Newton Public Schools has asked me to remind everyone about the gift giving policy. This policy is set by the Newton School Committee. Click HERE to check it out.
