  • In-School Creative Arts & Sciences                                   $29/student
  • Teacher Discretionary Reimbursement (Supplies)       $19/student
  • Mini-grant Program                                                             $16/student
  • Teacher’s Professional Development Fund                     $8/student
  • Library                                                                                    $2/student
  • Financial Aid Fund                                                               $1/student

Total Equity Spending = approximately $35,000 or $75/student

Total 2010-11 PTO Budget = $50,000 per year – over $100/student

(Includes International Festival, Color Day & other events, Understanding our Differences & other programs, hospitality and teacher appreciation, and PTO business operations )

Fundraising Initiatives

  • After School Creative Arts (ASCA) – 75-80% of funds
  • Membership dues/contributions
  • Kindergarten Soccer
  • Equal Exchange/Meadow Farm, etc.
  • Book Fair
  • Mystery Dinner
  • Other events & sales

Total of the above covers Operational, “equity”,  spending commitments, other school programs and PTO operations.
