On Friday March 15th, all the second grade classes experienced “A Day In Ghana”, presented by Joe and Vida Galeota. Your Memorial Spaulding PTO Creative Arts And Sciences Committee, was excited to bring to the students the experience of Vida’s village for a day. Vida herself is from Ghana and her husband Joe has lived there for many years. Together they have created a charming and rich program about the culture of Ghana. Please remember to ask your children what their experience was like. They are sure to entertain you with the stories of all the artifacts and games they saw as well as the music they heard. Lastly, get ready to get off your feet and learn the dance that ALL of those in attendance both learned and enjoyed!!!
