EXPERIMENT DAYS are happening this week at Memorial Spaulding! Our team of awesome parent volunteers will be presenting an interactive experiment in each classroom on Thursday and Friday, and introducing the concept of STEAM Day to our students. Each grade level will experience a different presentation and will be encouraged to “think like a scientist” by formulating questions, making hypotheses, engaging in testing, observing, and making conclusions. In addition to providing the students with an enriching and fun experience, another goal of Experiment Days is to let every student know that they can explore their OWN ideas at STEAM Day, which will be held on May 17, 2020. The Committee will be sending home information in the coming months on how to participate, so stay tuned.
